MICo's main products are shell & tube heat exchangers pressure vessels, special weldments and other custom and small-batch production of the highest quality, based on the machining and welding of thick-walled materials.
We design and manufacture steam condensers, high-pressure and low-pressure heaters, oil and air coolers, and vaporisers. We will prepare a complete technical solution with thermal-hydraulic and strength calculations and detailed drawing documentation according to customer requirements. We manufacture in our own production plants and are able to design and supply exchangers with an operating pressure of up to 30 MPa (300 bar) and a medium temperature of 300°C.

In addition to process equipment, we also manufacture other special weldments for non-energy sectors such as automotive, electrical engineering, defence and others. On 13 June 2025, a professional presentation of Czech companies from the energy sector took place at the Czech Embassy in Budapest. The event focused on opportunities within the planned construction of combined cycle power plants in Mátra and Tisza and on the possibilities for Czech suppliers to participate in these projects.
On 9 June, representatives of MICo and Chemcomex attended a technical workshop at the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant, together with other leading Czech suppliers and experts from Rolls-Royce SMR. The aim was to familiarise participants with plans for the construction of small modular reactors (SMRs) and the requirements that key partners will have to meet. This new technology is also an opportunity for MICo.
On 7 May 2025, TV Nova visited MICo s.r.o. to prepare a report on how companies from the CE INDUSTRIES group can contribute to the supply of key components and technologies for the extension of the Dukovany nuclear power plant. MICo Sales Director Michal Balko guided journalists through our production facilities, explaining the role of MICo and other companies in the group in preparing for the order and explaining the implications of the court ruling.
At the beginning of April 2025, MICo s.r.o., part of the Energy Division of CE INDUSTRIES, actively participated in the Nuclear Encounter conference, which this time took place in the Low Tatras. This important event is a recognised platform for professional exchange within the Czechoslovak nuclear industry.
Czech companies want a piece of the Dukovany construction project. It is almost certain that the secondary loop will remain in Czechia. And a number of other deliveries will be decided in the coming years. The participation of Czechs in other KHNP projects in Europe is highly uncertain. Sufficient participation by Czech companies in the construction of new nuclear power sources is an insurmountable "red line" in this huge contract, both for the state and for representatives of local industry. Czech companies that manufacture in Czechia, pay taxes and insurance, see the construction of the fifth and sixth units in Dukovany as a great opportunity – after all, the completion is being talked about as the project of the century.
