As an engineering company operating in the European Union market in the field of manufacturing and steel structures, we take privacy protection seriously and, as a personal data controller, we protect personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. This privacy policy describes our practices regarding the processing and protection of your personal data in connection with this website and the execution of orders.

1. What information do we process about you?
When you visit this website, we collect the following information: Your IP address, the name and version of your browser, the web address (URL) through which you accessed this website, cookies (see point 2).
If you are our customer, in addition to company identification data (name, registered office, company ID number, etc.), we also process personal data about the persons representing the company (statutory representative, person responsible for order fulfilment, person involved in order fulfilment, etc.). This mainly includes first and last name, telephone number and work email address. In the case of a natural person or a natural person engaged in business, we also process their residential address, bank account and birth number (in the form of a VAT number).
If you are a person who visits us at our premises in person, we may also process your other personal data – video recording (without audio recording), as some of our workplaces are monitored by security cameras.
2. Cookies and Google Analytics
This website uses cookies. A cookie is a small file that is stored on your computer when you visit a website. In principle, cookies are used to provide users with additional functions on websites. They can be used, for example, to help you navigate websites more efficiently, enable you to return to pages you have left and/or remember your preferences when browsing websites. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google uses so-called cookies, text files that are stored on your computer and enable analysis of your website.
Information about your use of this website (including your IP address, URL, etc.) generated by cookies will be transmitted to Google servers in the United States and stored there. Our company stores data collected using Google Analytics in a dedicated Gmail account for a period of two years.
3. Purposes of personal data processing
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- provision of websites, creation and use of statistics (electronic communication)
- detecting, preventing and investigating attacks on these websites
- execution of orders (including pre-contractual agreements) in accordance with the subject of our business (company processes)
- communication with customers, between employees and with other contractual partners (company processes)
- property protection and building security at our premises
5. Provision of your personal data
For the above purposes, your data may be provided to the following parties:
- Other persons involved in the execution of the contract (contractual partners, subcontractors, investors, etc.)
All those with whom we cooperate and who participate in the execution of orders are bound by confidentiality. For example, we conclude standard contractual clauses or personal data processing agreements with them.
6. Retention period for personal data
We store data relating to points 3.1 to 3.2 for a maximum period of 24 months. Any longer period will only be used to the extent necessary to investigate reported attacks on our website.
When processing personal data in connection with the execution of orders and communication support pursuant to points 3.3 and 3.4, we store personal data until all obligations and commitments arising from orders/contracts have been settled and then for the period necessary in accordance with legal regulations (very often this is the lifetime of our equipment).
We store camera recordings (point 3.5) from our security cameras (without audio recordings) for a period of 7 days.
7. Your rights in relation to the provision of personal data
In accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing and restrict the provision of your data to third parties.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the EU supervisory authority or the Czech supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz), if you believe that European or Czech personal data protection law has been violated.
8. Personal data security
MICo s.r.o. uses reasonable measures to ensure the confidentiality, security, and integrity of your personal data. Users can access personal data according to their set permissions.
All our employees are instructed on the principles of personal data protection for our employees, customers and other contractual partners.
